Overview

The Marcus US Marketing team drives growth and manages the customer lifecycle for millions of Marcus customers through high-yield savings and CDs. This role focuses on content strategy, execution, and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with content writers to produce high-quality, relevant content for Marcus site, resource hub, newsletter, and organic social channels.
  • Collaborate with team and agency to identify keyword opportunities, optimize on-page content, and ensure all editorial output aligns with search best practices.
  • Manage organic social media calendar, developing engaging assets like video, infographics, and copy that resonate with a retail banking audience.
  • Act as a bridge between Marketing, Product, and Legal/Compliance to ensure content is accurate, brand-compliant, and technically sound.
  • Work with Analytics team to monitor content performance and use insights to refine future content strategies.
  • Ensure consistency in Marcus tone of voice, which emphasizes simplicity and transparency, across all organic touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in content marketing and/or digital strategy.
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and social media algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex financial topics for a general audience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain editorial calendars, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing agency relationships.
  • Experience in Financial Services or Fintech is preferred but not required; a passion for consumer advocacy and financial literacy is a plus.
