About the role
Mapos Architects, DPC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for full-time employment. Our current and potential projects include private residential, medium-scale mixed-use developments, retail, hotel, wellness, and master planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from Feasibility and Concept Phases to Final Punch List
- Oversee the work of others while efficiently producing your own work
- Lead and delegate to teams on multiple projects
- Manage professional consultants and vendors across various disciplines (engineering, landscape, lighting, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to standard project phasing, milestones, and deliverables
- Design and present projects with creativity, curiosity, precision, and a sense of mission
- Create and maintain a collaborative work culture
Requirements
- 4+ years of design-forward professional experience
- Can work at home/remotely
- Located in NYC or the Hudson Valley for in-person meetings and site visits
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience in running projects from Feasibility and Concept Phases to Final Punch List
- The ability to efficiently produce your own work and responsibly oversee the work of others
- A passion and ability to design and effectively present their work
- A leader who cares about, drives, and supports a collaborative work culture
- Experience leading and delegating to teams on multiple projects
- Knowledge of standard project phasing, milestones, and deliverables
- Proficiency in hand-sketching, Revit, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
