About the role
Eaton’s Electrical Sector – Power Distribution & Controls Assemblies (PDCA) business is seeking a Manufacturing Testing Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is onsite, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision to electrical testers within assigned assembly areas
- Support product and component troubleshooting with hands-on technical expertise
- Develop and monitor manufacturing quality procedures, standards, and training programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Plan and coordinate calibration, maintenance, and use of electrical testing equipment
- Ensure production output and order fulfillment objectives are achieved
- Serve as Site Responsible Person (SRP) for Electrical Safety and ensure MESH compliance
- Collect and analyze production and test data to assess product quality and reliability
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) methods and support quality analysis efforts
- Partner with internal teams to resolve quality and reliability issues
- Support customer needs, including site visits and issue resolution when needed
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Participate in safety programs, environmental initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Support supplier quality processes, including quality holds
- Ensure customer requirements including quality objectives, corrective actions, and product standards are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution OR Bachelor’s degree in any field with 5+ years of switchgear manufacturing experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing, quality, or manufacturing
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred
- Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, CANBUS, Serial, I2C, JTAG) preferred
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) safety requirements preferred
- Experience with industry quality systems (ISO9001 or similar) preferred
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with tools and programming languages such as: C#, Visual Basic, LabVIEW; SQL, Access, ASP; REST, Python, TestStand preferred
