About the role

Eaton’s Electrical Sector – Power Distribution & Controls Assemblies (PDCA) business is seeking a Manufacturing Testing Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is onsite, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to electrical testers within assigned assembly areas
  • Support product and component troubleshooting with hands-on technical expertise
  • Develop and monitor manufacturing quality procedures, standards, and training programs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams
  • Plan and coordinate calibration, maintenance, and use of electrical testing equipment
  • Ensure production output and order fulfillment objectives are achieved
  • Serve as Site Responsible Person (SRP) for Electrical Safety and ensure MESH compliance
  • Collect and analyze production and test data to assess product quality and reliability
  • Implement statistical process control (SPC) methods and support quality analysis efforts
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve quality and reliability issues
  • Support customer needs, including site visits and issue resolution when needed
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
  • Participate in safety programs, environmental initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Support supplier quality processes, including quality holds
  • Ensure customer requirements including quality objectives, corrective actions, and product standards are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution OR Bachelor’s degree in any field with 5+ years of switchgear manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing, quality, or manufacturing
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, CANBUS, Serial, I2C, JTAG) preferred
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) safety requirements preferred
  • Experience with industry quality systems (ISO9001 or similar) preferred
  • Leverage Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with tools and programming languages such as: C#, Visual Basic, LabVIEW; SQL, Access, ASP; REST, Python, TestStand preferred
