Manufacturing Test Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, validating, and maintaining production test methods, equipment, fixtures, software, and processes used to verify the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of KMC Controls products.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, Production, Electronics, Firmware Development, and Technical Support to ensure products can be assembled, programmed, tested, and inspected consistently in the manufacturing environment
• Support new product introduction
• Investigate production and test failures
• Drive improvements that increase first-pass yield, reduce defects, and strengthen manufacturing capability
