About the role

A snapshot of your day will be processing components or products according to engineering specifications and quality standards, and maintaining the flow and quality of parts produced using hand tools at our Gibsonton, Florida location.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC, EDM machines, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Ensure the correct practice is pulled up on the production system screen while performing operations.
  • Plan and lay out work, prepare components or semi-products, and monitor related hand-stock.
  • Use lifting devices to remove/install products and maintain good documentation practices.
  • Clean and maintain machines and equipment for organization and safety.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings to work orders and assist with tooling setups and changeovers.

Requirements

  • Evidence of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Experience in CNC/EDM machine operation.
  • Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to use all standard tools, perform basic math, and use the metric system.
  • Legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
  • This position requires an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We provide zero or low-emission power generation, including all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof. Our decarbonization opportunities include service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
