Manufacturing Technician Rough Knock - Out Operator 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:00pm (P)

About the role

A Snapshot of Your Day
Will be removing ceramic material over metal pieces and molds according to production specifications to produce parts of exceptional quality. This manufacturing process is performed using a 3 lbs. hammer and an air hammer with a chisel occasionally. This will be in the Gibsonton Florida location.

How you’ll make an impact

• Verify that physical parts serial numbers match with the serial numbers on the router and perform the operation according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Moving processed parts to the next area, setting up tools, inspecting lifting devices and moving heavy parts when needed.
• Maintain the flow and quality of parts produced continuously performing improvement analysis.
• Perform basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; cooperate with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues and use hand tools, including wrenches, allen wrenches, and screwdrivers.

What you bring

• High school graduate or GED.
• Previous experience on Knockout or manufacturing will be a plus.
• Able to stand during working hours for long periods of time and read Engineering instructions.
