Manufacturing Associate – 2nd shift– 3:10pm-1:10am– Mon-Thurs
About the role
The Manufacturing Associate – 2nd Shift is responsible for efficiently performing all tasks related to the Consumables Department safely. This position reports to the VSL - Consumables and is part of the Consumables department located in DeLand, FL. The role involves setting up and operating all equipment to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions. Work is performed under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel, with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
- Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
- Minimum one year year of production/manufacturing experience
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs and ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum 10 hours.
