Manufacturing Associate - 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $23.18/hr. (first 90 days), increasing to $26.13 - $28.23/hr. after 90 days.
Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd shift (3pm-11pm – Monday-Friday)
Location: Delaware Container Plant, 875 Pittsburgh Drive, Delaware, OH 43015
About the role
You will perform counting and stacking of finished product, read factory orders, accurately read gauges and other test equipment, utilize basic shop math for inspections, and complete quality and administrative documents while following directions. Clean-up duties include blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap.
Responsibilities
- Count and stack finished product
- Read factory orders
- Accurately read gauges and other test equipment
- Utilize basic shop math for inspections
- Complete quality and administrative documents
- Follow written and oral instructions
- Perform clean-up functions (blowing down the machine, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping, shredding scrap)
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to read a standard tape measure
- Forklift experience preferred
