About the Role
Our team of Manufacturing Technicians is looking for a new colleague to join the upstream cell culture process of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for the medicine we produce. This role is based onsite at our West Lebanon, NH bioproduction facility with our Back End Nights Manufacturing team. Technicians work closely with engineers, scientists, process associates, facilities support, QA, and other stakeholders to improve and simplify processes in a dynamic, fast-paced shopfloor environment.
The first 3-4 weeks will be training in our 'bootcamp' for Manufacturing Technicians (Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM), followed by transition to the shift schedule:
- Week 1: 7PM-7AM Wednesday - Friday
- Week 2: 7PM-7AM Wednesday - Saturday
Responsibilities
- Perform product manufacturing and support activities
- Complete routine documentation associated with product manufacture
- Support in-process activities and product development as instructed
- Incorporate pre-planned process improvements and cost reduction programs
- Perform area equipment and process validations per procedures
- Conduct in-process product testing per standard procedures
- Support manufacturing activities in other departments as directed
- Perform all duties in compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
- Work in cleanroom areas requiring full gowning (hairnet, beard cover, frocks/coveralls, shoe covers, snood, face mask, sterile gloves) and adherence to GMP processes
- Adhere to cleanroom restrictions (e.g., no food/drink, jewelry, cosmetics, personal electronics)
Requirements
- High School diploma or Associate Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' relevant manufacturing experience or Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline with 0 years' experience
- Knowledge of cGMP operations preferred
- Ability to understand and execute written instructions
- Physical ability to: climb, balance, stoop, reach, stand, walk, push, lift, grasp, and perform repetitive wrist/hand movements
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
- Visual acuity for reading, writing, and detailed work
- Ability to work in environments with noise, moving equipment, chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust
- 0-10% overnight travel may be required
