About the Department: Site New Hampshire, located in West Lebanon, produces a global supply of Novo Nordisk’s hemophilia and growth hormone product lines, as well as next-generation medications. Our manufacturing facility is where life-saving treatments are brought to life.

About the Role

Our team of Manufacturing Technicians is looking for a new colleague to join the upstream cell culture process of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). This dynamic, fast-paced role involves production activities on a fully gowned, clean manufacturing shopfloor. You’ll collaborate with engineers, scientists, process associates, facilities support, QA, and other stakeholders to improve and simplify processes. We seek a curious, energetic team player eager to develop production skills through training and experience, and who is encouraged to engage in daily optimization of standards and structures.

Schedule

This role is based onsite at our West Lebanon, NH bioproduction facility with the Back End Nights Manufacturing team. The work schedule is as follows:

  • Week 1: 7PM–7AM Wednesday – Friday
  • Week 2: 7PM–7AM Wednesday – Saturday

The first 3–4 weeks will be training in our Manufacturing Technician 'bootcamp' (Monday–Friday, 8AM–4:30PM) before transitioning to the shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product manufacturing and support activities
  • Complete routine documentation associated with product manufacture
  • Support in-process activities and product development as instructed by supervisor
  • Incorporate pre-planned process improvements and cost-reduction programs into manufacturing
  • Perform area equipment and process validations in accordance with validation procedures
  • Conduct in-process product testing per standard procedures
  • Support manufacturing activities in other departments as directed
  • Perform all duties in compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
  • Adhere to cleanroom protocols, including wearing hairnets, beard covers, frocks/coveralls, shoe covers, snoods, face masks, sterile gloves, and following GMP processes

Examples of prohibited materials in cleanroom areas include (but are not limited to): food/drink/gum, jewelry, cosmetics, nail acrylics, perfume/cologne, and personal cell phones.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Associate’s Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience (relevant manufacturing preferred), or a Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline with zero (0) years of experience
  • Knowledge of cGMP operations is preferable
  • Ability to understand and execute established written instructions

Physical Requirements

  • 0–10% overnight travel required
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, reach, stand, and walk
  • Ability to push, lift, grasp, finger, and feel
  • Ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal/written communication
  • Repetitive movement of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally
  • Visual acuity for reading, writing, and analyzing work
  • Exposure to noise, moving parts, chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust
