Manufacturing Technician Nights

About the role

Your Job Georgia Pacific is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Technician on Nights in the Logistics, Printing, Packaging and Plate Forming Press departments to join our Dixie® team in Bowling Green, KY.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve-12 hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
• Sometimes lift boxes that weigh 60-80lbs to shoulder height

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment
• Completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program
• A minimum of six months of experience operating and maintaining machines
• High school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
• Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, or electrical skills in an industrial environment
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device

Pay

Pay rate is $23.11 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential for the NIGHT SHIFT ONLY

Schedule

All team members have the opportunity to learn new skills and advance in their positions. Night shift is 6:30pm-7:00am
