About the role

Making rubber products by trimming, extruding, and bolting parts together. Monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities

• Trimming flashing, extruded rubber, and bolt holes
• Using grinders for trim work
• Painting flanges and small parts
• Performing minor repair work
• Bolting wooden blinds on finished parts
• Conducting quality checks on products
• Assembling products and parts to meet production targets
• Following production guidelines and specifications
• Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment
• Monitoring the production line and removing faulty products
• Participating in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies
• Completing assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks
• Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time
• Complying with internal policies and industry regulations
• Following instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projects
• Ensuring work area is clean and safe

Requirements

• Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems
• Fabricating experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Work as a team within department and with other departments
• Required Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
