Loll Designs builds modern outdoor furniture that lasts for decades, using recycled materials and proud U.S. craftsmanship. We are seeking a Manufacturing Team Member – CNC Operator for our third‑shift team in Duluth, Minnesota. Whether you have CNC experience or are new to manufacturing, we provide the training you need to succeed. You’ll work in a clean, team‑oriented environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are core values.

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely set up and operate a 3‑axis high‑speed CNC router.
• Read work orders and machine programmed parts using the correct tooling and fixtures.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Work with CNC programmers to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
• Load materials, change tooling, and perform machine setups as needed.
• Operate a forklift to stage materials (training provided if needed).
• Learn the product line and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following established 5S practices.
• Support continuous‑improvement efforts and help build high‑quality products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC certificate or technical training preferred but not required.
• No prior CNC or machine‑operating experience required – training will be provided.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and detailed instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependability and common‑sense problem‑solving.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials; lift up to 50 lb.
• Comfortable working around noisy or warm machinery.
• Forklift operation may be required (training provided).

Shift

Third (Night) shift.

Compensation

$17.00 per hour. Quarterly bonus program averaging $11,000 per year.
