Responsibilities
- Provides feedback, coaching, training conflict resolution, and conducts audits.
- Identifies process constraints and incorporates appropriate decision making and problem solving techniques.
- Provides the shift supervisor with relevant performance feedback in addition to providing daily work direction and leadership to assigned team to maintain and improve business results.
- Manages to establish SQDC metrics.
- Acts as a mentor to newer team leads.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience successfully leading work teams in the achievement of value stream goals and objectives.
- Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Operations experience.
- Ability to learn product, process and equipment.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques (5S).
- Changeover and set-up knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train and motivate employees.
- Proven ability to problem solve, make sound decisions and delegate appropriately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven effectiveness working with others.
- Continuous improvement experience required.
- Proven ability to be flexible.
- Self-motivated.
- Successful completion of all AMS foundation courses.
