Manufacturing Team Lead II (Double Hung, 1st Shift 4x10)

Responsibilities

• Provides feedback, coaching, training conflict resolution, and conducts audits.
• Identifies process constraints and incorporates appropriate decision making and problem solving techniques.
• Provides the shift supervisor with relevant performance feedback in addition to providing daily work direction and leadership to assigned team to maintain and improve business results.
• Manages to establish SQDC metrics.
• Acts as a mentor to newer team leads.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience successfully leading work teams in the achievement of value stream goals and objectives.
• Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Operations experience.
• Ability to learn product, process and equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques (5S).
• Changeover and set-up knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train and motivate employees.
• Proven ability to problem solve, make sound decisions and delegate appropriately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven effectiveness working with others.
• Continuous improvement experience required.
• Proven ability to be flexible.
• Self-motivated.
• Successful completion of all AMS foundation courses.
