Manufacturing Team Lead - Finishing 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:00pm (P)

About the role

A Snapshot of Your Day

• Organizing daily operator tasks at shift start based on team availability and critical path activities.
• Reporting on team members' work activity to the manager.
• Maintaining and reporting on production status to the manager ensuring that performance boards are kept up to date and the job is tracking to schedule.
• Facilitating shift changeover status/briefing, Team and Department meetings.
• Designated liaison to hand off operations to the next shift.

Requirements

• Evidence of High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting and proficiency with Office products required.
• Experience with ceramic manufacturing and statistical methods preferred.
• Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system.

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to deploy training, etc.
