Manufacturing System Integration Engineer
About the role
Samsung is a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology, founded on the belief that the pursuit of excellence creates a better world. At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow.
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer to support our semiconductor facilities in Taylor and Austin, Texas. You will serve as a critical link between proprietary production systems and physical manufacturing execution. The ideal candidate will be an expert in manufacturing systems with a strong interest in AI transformation. Your primary focus will be to troubleshoot factory bottlenecks and optimize throughput, while utilizing modern software tools and AI capabilities to augment employee productivity and operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Manufacturing, Systems, Equipment, and Process Engineering—to implement data-driven enhancements in a high-volume production environment.
Schedule
Primary Base: Taylor, TX
Support Model: Dual-site support (Austin & Taylor)
Shift: Day shift; Compressed Work Week (12-hour shifts, 3 or 4 days per week)
Responsibilities
- Systems Troubleshooting & Optimization: Provide technical expertise to resolve system-related issues and eliminate factory bottlenecks. Analyze production workflows to improve tool throughput and overall system performance.
- Data Analysis & Insight: Collect and interpret data from sensors and automated systems to identify trends and provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
