Integration Systems Engineer
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience. Must have Scripting experience (such as Bash or Python).
Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- As a Systems Engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems, BYG-1 Integration Team, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, and integrating a custom Linux-based Operating System for U.S. Navy submarine combat systems.
- Leverage technologies such as Ansible, Kubernetes, custom scripting (Bash, Python), virtual machine development, and cybersecurity practices to deliver a secure and mission-ready platform that empowers warfighters with cutting-edge capabilities.
- Preferred skills or experiences include: Linux OS fundamentals, Shell scripting (Bash, Python), Package management (RPM, DEB, YUM/DNF, APT), Ansible, Bitbucket, Jira, Kubernetes.

Target salary range:
USD $90,833.00/Yr. - USD $100,767.00/Yr.
