Manufacturing Support Technician
About the role
The Manufacturing Support Technician provides hands-on support to production operations within a manufacturing environment. This role performs a variety of secondary and support processes that contribute to product quality, safety, and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate laser marking equipment to mark parts in accordance with specifications, drawings, and work instructions
- Perform manual and mechanical deburring to remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material
- Clean parts using approved equipment and processes to meet quality and cleanliness requirements
- Operate part balancing machine and document results as required
- Sort, inspect, handle, and move parts through various stages of the production process
- Support machining, production, and inspection teams with a variety of utility and secondary operations
- Identify nonconforming parts or quality concerns and communicate issues to supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies
- Comply with all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support changing production needs
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes
- The ability to follow written work instructions and verbal direction
- A strong attention to detail and quality awareness

Pay
Individual compensation will be determined by various factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, experience, education, skills, location, and market and business considerations.
Schedule
Hours are flexible to accommodate the needs of the production schedule.
