Manufacturing Supervisor

As a Manufacturing Supervisor in Winston Salem, you will lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. This role involves supervising and developing production employees, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and performance while ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and EHS requirements.
Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing performance by aligning operations with company goals, optimizing workflows, improving efficiencies, and supporting production objectives.
- Lead and develop teams by setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing coaching and feedback, and building employee capability and engagement.
- Enhance operational excellence through data analysis, process improvement initiatives, cost reduction strategies, inventory and material optimization, and implementation of effective systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance and quality standards by applying sound judgment regarding regulatory requirements, company policies, GMP practices, and operational controls.
- Promote EHS and ESG performance by maintaining a safe work environment, implementing EHS/ESG programs, ensuring training and compliance, reducing risks and environmental impacts, and supporting incident reporting and corrective actions.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems/data tools.
- Proven record of high performance in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to achieve operational goals and drive results.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams effectively.
- Self-motivated change agent who generates new ideas, challenges the status quo, and drives continuous improvement.
- Valid driver's license meeting company requirements.
Preferred experience includes managing production teams and working in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
