Manufacturing Supervisor

Basic Qualifications Experience in manufacturing and/or production. Experience informally or formally leading a team. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Job Description Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Courtland, AL! In this role you will lead and manage a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve schedule execution and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must be able to read engineering drawings, blueprints and interpret/translate instructions to mechanics / technicians. Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Drive day-to-day improvement activities to support customer needs and enhance operational efficiency. Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure effective collaboration and communication. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development. Manage cross-functional manufacturing teams. Monitor business metrics and performance tracking Lead and manage a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve schedule execution and customer satisfaction. Desired Skills Manufacturing experiences in areas of component manufacturing, disassembly, assembly, and materials management preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Experience with performance metrics and benchmarking. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances. Knowledge of lean principles and methodologies.
