Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise the machining, painting and welding teams (First and Swing shifts)
• Implement lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc.)
• Statistical control of the process
• Production planning
• Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework)
• Continuous Improvement. Analysis for the solution of problems in lean manufacturing
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• BS or BA Degree (or pursuing a degree) in Engineering and 5-7 years relevant experience
• Supervisory experience within a machine shop environment
• Experience in CNC programming and/or manual machining
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc.)
