Responsibilities
- Promote a safe and sustainable working environment through modeling safe behaviors and resolving safety issues.
- Establish priorities and allocate work assignments to meet specific daily production requirements using lean management processes to meet customer expectations.
- Monitor production rates, yields, and product quality regularly, communicate results to employees, and use continuous improvement tools to enhance scheduling, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop employees through direct supervision, floor presence, monitoring, and coaching of production employees, providing recognition, overseeing training completion, administering policies, and participating in hiring processes.
- Represent plant leadership team by supporting initiatives across the plant, including supervision coverage for alternative shifts, being on-call, and acting as a primary plant management representative.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher (completed and verified prior to start) with seven (7) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, quality, or supply chain in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) with two (2) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, quality, or supply chain in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Qualifications
- Previous supervision experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Experience leading daily tier management processes, leading improvement projects (kaizens), and participation in Six Sigma Green Belt projects.

Schedule
6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Overnight) shift with rotating days off.
