Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift
About the role
The Production Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing a compact team, preparing financial forecasts, conducting performance appraisals, maximizing manufacturing performance metrics, ensuring thorough training in processes and safety protocols, maintaining adherence to specifications, implementing Lean methodologies, and overseeing manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality products/services.
Responsibilities
- Supervises a skilled team to ensure efficient task execution and productivity.
- Provides guidance and support for direct reports.
- Develops financial forecasts and annual plans to align decisions with organizational goals.
- Ensures strategic financial direction.
- Optimizes manufacturing performance by improving productivity, equipment utilization, and efficiency metrics.
- Enhances operational effectiveness.
- Provides ongoing training on production processes and Health & Safety protocols.
- Prioritizes operator competence and safety.
- Implements Lean methodologies and seamless New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Drives efficiency and continuous improvement in production.
Requirements
- If you have 4+ years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent, or no prior experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- You have a Bachelor's Degree / Vocational Education in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering or equivalent.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You have a lean Leadership training/certification.

Pay
The pay range for this position in PA is $67,500 to $108,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
Schedule
This is an onsite role on the 2nd shift!
