Manufacturing Solutions Product Manager

About the role

ToolsGroup is a global provider of supply chain planning and optimization software. We are evolving our portfolio toward an AI-first, agentic platform (Decion) that introduces decision-centric workflows to improve service levels, reduce working capital, and accelerate response to change. As a Manufacturing Solutions Product Manager, you will shape a first-of-its-kind solution for manufacturing within a market-leading planning platform.

Responsibilities

• Define Manufacturing POV & Use Cases
• Drive Cross-Solution Templates & Patterns
• Translate Workflows into Product Direction
• Lead Customer Engagement & Validation

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of the following: Product management for supply chain/manufacturing software, manufacturing/supply chain planning roles (production, materials, supply planning, operations)
• Experience with production planning, MPS, or APS, supply chain planning systems (Kinaxis, OMP, o9, SAP IBP, etc.)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing constraints (BOMs, capacity, lead times), multi-site and multi-echelon supply networks
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining structure, strong customer-facing presence, clear written and verbal communication across abstraction levels, comfortable using AI tools to accelerate product work, interested in applying AI to redefine planning workflows, strong cross-functional collaboration without authority, outcome-oriented and data-driven, hands-on and execution-focused

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in relevant fields, including but not limited to product management for supply chain/manufacturing software, manufacturing/supply chain planning roles, production planning, MPS, or APS, supply chain planning systems, ability to translate complex workflows into clear product direction and requirements, strong understanding of manufacturing constraints, multi-site and multi-echelon supply networks, comfort operating in ambiguity and defining structure, strong customer-facing presence, clear written and verbal communication across abstraction levels, comfortable using AI tools to accelerate product work, interested in applying AI to redefine planning workflows, strong cross-functional collaboration without authority, outcome-oriented and data-driven, hands-on and execution-focused

• Strong understanding of manufacturing constraints (BOMs, capacity, lead times), multi-site and multi-echelon supply networks
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining structure
• Strong customer-facing presence: can lead discovery and challenge assumptions, can engage both practitioners and executives
• Clear written and verbal communication across abstraction levels
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate product work (research, prototyping, specification)
