About the role

Reads orders, gathers ordered materials and doors, interprets tickets, pulls, cleans, and installs glass inserts according to customer orders. Sets up and operates production machinery following established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
• Maintains knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment
• Operates tools such as hot gun, caulk gun, pneumatic screw gun, and small hand tools
• Performs basic math and reads a tape measure
• Stands for long periods of time and maintains regular attendance and timeliness
• Follows all operational and safety standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Door and glass knowledge
• Common power tool operation
• Ability to read and interpret tickets
• Moderate knowledge of door/customer quality specs, pull placards, and load list details
• Strong knowledge of door types preferred

Skills

• Basic cleaning knowledge
• Use of small hand tools
• Basic math and tape measure reading

Pay

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 plus benefits. Base pay varies within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
