Door Manufacturer

Hourly workers assist Door Shop Assemblers in daily manufacturing operations, including assembling doors, cutting heads, casing, and jambs, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on a door pre-hanging assembly line and perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Use power saws, air nail guns, staples, and other tools to prep wood material for door assembly.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials to appropriate areas of the shop.
• Pick and pull production material as needed.
• Load, unload, store, and package materials as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe all posted safety rules.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information one-on-one.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay

$17–$18 per hour, plus weekly overtime.
