Responsibilities
- Manages a single department and/or shift
- Performs moderately complex troubleshooting
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform moderately complex checkouts
- Rebuilds manufacturing equipment
- Performs equipment modifications
- Affords assistance to Quality and Training Tech in developing and enhancing procedures
Qualifications
- In-depth product manufacturing comprehension including rationales
- Must be able to read and understand technical training material, comprehend test procedures and perform correlations between test results and failures
- Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature
- Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
- Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
