Manufacturing Quality Leader - Region North America
About the Role
This leader will work with the Wind factories across North America, responsible for proposing, establishing, and driving the Quality improvement programs while ensuring close alignment with business process owners. The role requires seasoned leadership and change management skills, deep domain knowledge of quality processes, problem-solving, and auditing, as well as the ability to collaborate with and influence key decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and assure global manufacturing standards across the factories in the region.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify, prioritize, and drive improvements in Wind factories.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to define a pipeline of targeted and impactful improvement programs to ensure right-first-time manufacturing, protecting customers from potential escaping defects.
- Drive read-across in the region and between regions.
- Provide coaching and leadership to improvement programs using Quality and Lean methodologies (DMAIC, SIPOC, Value Stream Map, etc.).
- Lead and/or support complex problem-solving initiatives.
- Determine and drive audit programs in regional factories to identify gaps and support factories in improving quality maturity levels.
- Engage with customers in both ITO and OTR, representing regional factories to provide an overview of improvement programs, ensuring customer feedback (VoC) is integrated into the program.
- Build a quality culture in regional factories through focus events, communications, and leveraging "Quality Rules."
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college; or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management, engineering quality, supplier quality, or related roles within industrial/manufacturing.
- Proven history using structured problem-solving tools (RCA, 8D).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audit management, quality tools, methodologies, and improvement programs.
- Independent, self-starter capable of influencing cross-functional, global teams.

- Wind Power experience preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent knowledge/experience.

Pay
For candidates applying to a U.S.-based position, the pay range is between $107,600.00 and $179,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. Bonus eligibility includes a discretionary annual bonus. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
