Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage manufacturing projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and resource requirements while monitoring project progress and mitigating risks.
- Cook up cross-functional activities involving Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Production Planning, Customer Service, and other business functions.
- Analyze manufacturing processes, production data, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for productivity improvements, cost reductions, and process optimization.
- Facilitate project meetings, communicate project status, and provide updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Cook up supplier and vendor activities to ensure project deliverables, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Serve as a primary customer contact for assigned manufacturing programs, quotations, contracts, engineering changes, and project-related communications.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on production schedules and customer commitments.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, environmental requirements, and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and applicable quality management systems.
- Support new product introductions, manufacturing process improvements, and capital equipment implementation projects.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, reports, schedules, and action plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects from planning through execution.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Able to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Llean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience within pump manufacturing, rotating equipment, industrial equipment, or heavy manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting customer-driven manufacturing programs and engineered-to-order products.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
