About the role
We are seeking an organized and detail-focused Manufacturing Project Coordinator to support configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship programs. This position coordinates orders from entry through shipment while working closely with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and logistics teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate CTO and quick-ship orders from entry through shipment and closeout
- Review sales orders for accuracy, completeness, and configuration requirements
- Track material availability, production, testing, and shipping milestones
- Maintain accurate project and order information in ERP and project management systems
- Work with production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams to keep orders on schedule
- Provide customer order updates and communicate schedule changes
- Identify at-risk orders and escalate potential delivery issues
- Assist with logistics, shipping documentation, and customer-specific requirements
- Prepare internal and customer-facing project status reports
- Support improvements to order tracking and scheduling processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or manufacturing operations
- Experience working with ERP systems and project tracking tools
- Strong organization, multitasking, communication, and follow-through skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate data
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Power distribution industry experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing
- Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order manufacturing
- Experience with power distribution products or industrial equipment
- Shipping and logistics coordination experience
- CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification

Pay
Starting salary: $60,000/year, with higher compensation available based on experience
