Manufacturing Production Planner

Essential Job Functions

• Build mid to long term production plans to achieve customer delivery demands
• Partner with operations to drive production plans to achievable daily/weekly schedules
• Demand planning – translate customer order commitments to executable plans
• Capacity planning – balance equipment, labor and material to determine internal vs external capacity requirements
• Manage production expeditor for all outside services coordination
• Develop in-process tools to create data driven decisions on span time, deliverable execution and capacity

Education And Qualifications

• S./ B.A (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management) preferred
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills required
• As9100 or ISO 9001 experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of MRP and production planning
• Able to data mine and think of alternative solutions to common issues
