Manufacturing Production Manager

All-Pro Threaded Products, manufacturing division of All-Pro Fasteners, Inc., located in Arlington, Texas, is a producer of a wide variety of special fasteners used throughout the steel fabrication, pipe, OEM, industrial construction, and utility industries.

About the role

The Production Manager is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to maximize efficiency, meet customer delivery commitments, and optimize the use of labor, equipment, and materials. This position works closely with Sales, Purchasing, Shipping, and Maintenance to ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules
• Work closely with Supervisors and Leads of all manufacturing departments to ensure production goals are met
• Coordinate schedule changes resulting from material shortages, equipment issues, or customer schedules with appropriate departments
• Monitor production across all departments and adjust labor schedules as necessary to meet delivery requirements
• Review production reports daily to identify issues
• Coordinate with Sales to ensure lead times are accurate and identify any issues with orders
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure raw materials inventory is accurate and optimal
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure machine downtime is limited
• Monitor sales orders, purchase orders, production orders, and related documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Work closely with Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production, Shipping, Quality, and Sales departments to resolve order issues and improve communication
• Conduct root cause analysis and investigate when non-conformances (NC’s) are reported due to production errors

• Directly supervises Manufacturing Supervisors and Leads
• Daily work assignments
• Training and coaching
• Scheduling and attendance monitoring
• Performance feedback
• Assisting with performance evaluations
• Promoting teamwork and accountability
• Recommending disciplinary action when appropriate

Salary negotiable based on experience
