Manufacturing Product Manager - Modular MEP Systems
About the role
You will own manufactured products from idea through long-term performance. This role is responsible for turning modular mechanical systems into real, repeatable offerings that can be built in the shop and sold to customers. You’ll work across the full lifecycle, from early concept and design through production, launch, and ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leading products from concept through prototype, production release, and ongoing support
- Coinciding with engineering, shop leadership, and supply chain to ensure products are buildable and repeatable
- Defining product scope, requirements, and standard configurations to support consistent estimating and manufacturing
- Sponsoring supplier and component decisions alongside purchasing and external partners
- Driving improvements after launch based on shop feedback, customer input, and cost or quality performance
Requirements
- Experience developing physical, manufactured products in fabrication or modular environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM-driven products, and supply chain coordination
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Comfortable working from early concept through production and real-world feedback
- Experience commercializing products for external customers preferred
- Exposure to manufacturing cost structures and pricing valued
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience overseeing multi-facility manufacturing or fabrication operations
- Solid background in mechanical fabrication, modular construction, or industrialized construction
- Strong understanding of plant operations, capacity planning, and production flow
- Ability to influence and align teams across regions
- Experience working across manufacturing, engineering, and construction environments
- Practical, outcomes-focused approach to leadership
- Must be able to travel 25%+ for this position

Pay
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Pay Range: $88,848.52 - $133,272.77
