About the Role

Raytheon has an immediate need for a Product Manager supporting the Circuit Card Manufacturing area in Andover, Massachusetts. This position provides opportunities to grow skills in operations management, technical operations, business communications, and leadership. The role involves direct support of manufacturing activities, requiring significant time in and around the Andover factory areas.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Manufacturing Work Centers and other Functional Partners to ensure successful on-time integration of material and labor efforts supporting manufacturing and contract schedules.
  • Serve as the primary interface across all operation value streams.
  • Lead Operations role for implementing engineering change orders.
  • Present reports to Customers and Directors representing IPT team and operations performance.
  • Manage and coordinate recurring and non-recurring manufacturing resources to support program requirements.
  • Develop Manufacturing Plans and support quarterly EACs.
  • Manage coordination and execution of CCM schedules with Global Supply Chain Management, PPL, IPT, Engineering, and other functional areas.
  • Support Manufacturing Operations strategy and utilize CORE/R6Sigma best practices.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives for recurring efforts and new business opportunities.
  • Lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Program, and/or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of manufacturing tool sets and how to leverage information from material receipt through DD250 within a defense contracting organization.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including SAP, Kinaxis, PRISM/CMES.
  • Experience in capital planning (development), MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) Assessments, Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Previous manufacturing process experience.
  • EVMS L2 Certification or ability to learn.
  • CORE/Six Sigma experience.
  • Knowledge of using IPDS (Integrated Product Development System) and creating/managing a complex IMS using Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility.
  • Previous leadership position in a fast-paced technical or manufacturing environment, including experience building strong cross-functional teams.

Pay

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
