Manufacturing Operator II
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Manufacturing Operator II to join our 2nd shift production team. In this hands‑on role, you will support the manufacturing of high‑quality pharmaceutical products while ensuring strict adherence to cGMP standards, SOPs, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment across one or more processes, including:
- Glatt fluid bed processing
- Granulation and blending
- Compression, coating, and encapsulation
- Imprinting and banding
- Execute manufacturing processes in accordance with batch records, SOPs, and established procedures.
- Maintain process performance and ensure adherence to production specifications.
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and cleaning activities as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, making appropriate adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Follow equipment manuals and safe operating procedures at all times.
- Accurately complete manufacturing documentation and logbooks in real time.
- Ensure all activities comply with cGMP requirements and data integrity standards.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Perform all duties in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Ensure product quality by following procedures and reporting any deviations or abnormalities.
Requirements
- High School, Trade School, or Vocational Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Forklift or related equipment certification required
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Good knowledge of cGMP and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
- Understanding of occupational health and safety practices
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and familiarity with SAP (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Solid math skills and attention to detail
- English proficiency at CEFR Basic A2 level
- Minimum 3 years of production/manufacturing experience, including hands‑on experience in primary manufacturing processes
Qualifications
The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $25.00/hr to $28.00/hr. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan, and may be eligible for the Long Term Incentive Plan. Pay

Schedule
This position is available on a 2nd Shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve exposure to:
- Moderate to high noise levels
- Dust, fumes, odors, and airborne particles
- Mechanical and process equipment hazards
Strict adherence to safety procedures and use of PPE is required at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to navigate plant floor, lab, and operational environments
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators, safety glasses, and safety shoes
