Manufacturing Operations Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in hands-on learning across multiple manufacturing plants by shadowing various production roles to gain a strong understanding of Applied Medical’s operational workflows.
  • Complete on-the-job training, structured workshops, and guided learning modules to build foundational operational knowledge and technical skills.
  • Learn and apply SAP management systems (ERP/MRP) to support tasks such as material planning, shop floor control, and production tracking.
  • Aid with manufacturing cost analyses, production scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning to support operational decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operations.
  • Develop capacity plans for current and future resource needs by analyzing production data and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Train and shadow in the responsibilities of a Production Team Leader to prepare for potential advancement into leadership roles.

Preferred

  • 4-year degree in Business Administration or Operations and Supply Chain Management.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Prior experience in SAP or other ERP data management systems.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and production, or process-driven work environments.
