Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

About the role

Maintenance Technician Join Life Fitness / Hammer Strength as a Maintenance Technician and play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you'll perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of production equipment while supporting a safe, productive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of maintenance duties involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Complete maintenance service requests for production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex machinery and equipment issues.
• Disassemble equipment and repair or replace defective components.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
• Communicate equipment concerns and safety issues to supervisors.
• Support a safe work environment by following established maintenance procedures.
• Assist with facility maintenance projects as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Working knowledge of facility maintenance.
• Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Technical college degree in a maintenance-related field or a trade license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance background.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment including pressure gauges, voltmeters, and ammeters.
• Experience maintaining: Press brakes, Laser cutters, Turret punch presses, CNC machining centers, Powder coating equipment.
• Experience with Trumpf machinery.
• Experience working with Motoman robots.
