About the role
We are looking for skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team in a climate-controlled, light-manufacturing environment specializing in contactless payment cards. The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician oversees the setup and maintenance of industrial machinery, ensuring smooth equipment operation through installation, regular maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Starting pay is $26.90 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on production and facility equipment, including presses, imaging lines, die cutters, compressors, HVAC systems, affixing equipment, chillers, humidification systems, cutters, packaging lines, and conveyors.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with production and facility equipment, including motors, drives, pumps, and control devices.
- Support installation of new machinery and relocation of existing equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs related to carpentry, painting, building upkeep, and other facility tasks.
- Operate welding equipment, drill presses, grinders, hand tools, and metalworking machines.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system to optimize operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to improve quality, performance, and productivity.
- Accept feedback from management and peers for ongoing development.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in both plant and office spaces.
- Participate in special projects and carry out additional related responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical education preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical repair.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand documents and drawings.
- Familiarity with basic office software and ability to learn maintenance software for data entry and parts research.
- Elementary English proficiency and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Occasional standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to handle tools or controls.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
