Description
While the world sleeps, you're the one keeping production moving! PAC is hiring experienced Machine Operators to run ECO Solo Folder/Gluer machines in a fast-moving, high-energy packaging operation. The Shift
Shifts are Overnights. 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Rotating schedule. 2-2-312-hour shifts.
The Pay
$22.75 per hour + $1.10 per hour overnight differential = $23.85/hr total. Consistent schedules.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll own the machine and the results. Run and control the **folder/gluer operation** from setup to shutdown
- Manage **output, quality, and efficiency**
- Perform efficient setups and changeovers
- Read and follow work orders and special instructions
- Monitor finished goods quality and make real-time adjustments
- Communicate issues clearly to supervisors and support teams
- Enter safety, maintenance, quality, or planning requests as needed
- Perform operator-level preventive maintenance and machine cleaning
- Complete accurate scanning and product labeling
- Participate in proper **shift handoff**, sharing what worked and what didn’t
- Maintain strong housekeeping standards during downtime and end of shift
- Suggest improvements to keep the machine running at optimal speeds
This is not a “push buttons and walk away” role. We’re looking for operators who take the lead.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of machine operation experience
- Folder/Gluer experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read work instructions, safety rules, and measurements
- Comfortable with basic math and production calculations
- Able to use computers, handheld devices, and basic data entry
- Microsoft Excel knowledge is a plus
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Able to help cover shifts when needed
- Clear communication skills and a team mindset
Physical & Work Environment
- Standing for 8–12 hour shifts
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling
- Regular lifting up to 50 lbs floor to waist
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs overhead
- Indoor manufacturing environment. Semi-climate controlled
- Exposure to moving machinery, dust, fumes, and moderate noise
- Hearing protection and PPE required
