About the role
Extrusion: Creates plastic film used in bag manufacturing.
Press: Creates the visual aspect (ink on bags).
Converting: Converts film into bags according to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Controls and monitors film production of designated line(s)
- Maintains quality, housekeeping, and safety of designated extrusion line(s)
- Maintains clear communication with all Plant Departments
- Oversees the quality, housekeeping, and safety of designated extrusion line(s)
- Responsible for setting up bag machine to convert rolls of film into bags
- Responsible for converting rolls of printed or plain film into bags of varying sizes and shapes per customer specifications
Requirements
- Reliable
- Willing to learn a variety of tasks
- Previous experience operating a machine or working in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to climb stairs and work from elevated platforms
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
