Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Cook up and keep an eye on customer orders to make sure all pack lists and location reports are ready on time.
- Collaborate with outside logistics staff (like truck drivers) based on their availability and needs.
- Keep tabs on orders picked up by customers and follow up accordingly.
- Create and check export documents for all exports, mostly to China, South America, and Canada.
- Plan and track the shipment of finished goods according to customer preferences.
- Create pack lists from shop records and scan all packing documents into individual job files.
- Take charge of taking photos for each shipment and get them reviewed by the customer.
- Push shipments out to customers to hit sales goals.
- Handle miscellaneous filing and record keeping.
Work Environment
- Mainly works in the office.
- Also works on the production floor.
- Might need to lead production shop tours.
- May need to wear personal protective equipment during meetings.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and operate office equipment like computers and copy machines.
- Can sit for long periods and walk occasionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Logistics / Billing coordinator.
- A great work ethic and POSITIVE attitude are a must.
- Outstanding Customer Service skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience with export compliance and documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Willingness to follow directions and adapt to changing demands.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe, and other logistics software.
- Can work independently and manage multiple processes.
