Manufacturing Layout Engineer

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional computer training or related experience
• 1-2 years of related programming experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing software applications and programming languages
• Ability to analyze elevations and material profiles for compatibility with manufacturing techniques
• Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with bend deductions, shear sizes, jig selection, and reinforcement needs
• Familiarity with manufacturing tolerances and hardware template interpretation
• Understanding of shop capabilities and optimization of programming for machine efficiency

Other Requirements

• Ability to interpret hardware templates accurately and program elevations for machine utilization
• Willingness to support safety, teamwork, and customer-centric values in daily operations
• May require occasional site visits or cooperation with manufacturing teams
