Manufacturing Job Trainer (Pre Pack) - Day Shift
Work just 15 days a month on a stable, non-rotating 2-2-3 schedule that offers balance and predictability. As a Manufacturing Job Trainer, you will develop workforce capability, strengthen safety and quality, and ensure consistent performance across all production shifts.
About the Role
Our department builds functional expertise through a strong training organization that supports new and existing employees in high-volume production and warehouse environments. This role includes skills assessment, standardized work instruction, hands-on coaching, and cross-functional partnership to drive operational excellence, scalability, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on operator training and floor coaching.
- Train employees on equipment operation, material handling, safety, and quality using defined methods, standardized instructions, and approved documentation.
- Conduct cross-shift training to ensure consistency and reduce errors.
- Provide corrective retraining and reinforce SOP adherence and continuous improvement.
- Dedicate 30% of time to structured training and skill development.
- Create and update training materials with engineering, operations, maintenance, and global teams.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and aligned with standards.
- Communicate process or quality updates to the workforce.
- Recommend improvements based on training feedback.
Requirements
- 2+ years in production, warehouse, or manufacturing.
- Proven success delivering training in high-volume environments.
- TWI (Training Within Industry) experience preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment operation, automation, and safety compliance.
- Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule (6am–6pm).
Pay
Starting pay $27.50/hour.
Schedule
15 days per month on a non-rotating 2-2-3 schedule (12-hour shifts, 6am–6pm).
