Manufacturing Intern

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled interns to join our team at RSCC Wire & Cable LLC, a division of Marmon Holdings, a company backed by Berkshire Hathaway. Our mission is to provide innovative solutions for critical, industrial, and commercial applications through our wire and cable manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production processes, assembly, and quality checks
• Gain exposure to equipment operation, workflow optimization, and cross-functional teamwork
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving production efficiency and quality
• Develop practical skills in problem-solving, process monitoring, and teamwork

Requirements

• Currently entering Sophomore year or higher in a related program
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and adhere to PPE guidelines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Pay

$21–$23 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background

Schedule

The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August. Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Based in our manufacturing facility
• General exposure to a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors
• Regular walking, standing, and some sitting for extended periods
• May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• May involve lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate and work around machinery safely
