Manufacturing Engineer Intern
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team!
About the role
Maintain detailed operation sheet packages within a digital Manufacturing Execution System to facilitate the assembly process for electrical and mechanical parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies for defense products.
Responsibilities
- Migrate Work Instructions to a digital Manufacturing Execution System for manufacturing operators to assemble and wire equipment
- Facilitate processes for tracking production tooling and material
- Support Manufacturing Engineering with Lean process improvements and projects
- Attend weekly status meetings and present project status updates
Requirements
- Currently obtaining an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering
- Experience using CAD or 3D Modeling software
- MS Office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assembly principles
Qualifications
- Action oriented and independent worker
