About the role
The Manufacturing Inspector, located in a climate-controlled facility in Orange, TX, supports Cloeren Incorporated's mission to lead in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/prints to inspect manufactured parts.
- Inspect parts for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards, ensuring print tolerances are met.
- Record inspection data in a legible format.
- Use required tolerance equipment and tools as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of experience as a Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector.
- Prior experience as a Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in machining or related field of study, or trade school graduate, with relevant experience.
- Effective communication skills, including written and verbal abilities.
- Proficient in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Flexible work schedule, including overtime, as needed.
