Manufacturing Equipment Technician - Compressed Days
Job Responsibilities
Executes all aspects of operation, repair, trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, adjustments, rebuilding and modifications to insure proper operation and maximum up-time of various types of processing equipment with little or no supervision. Assists Engineering in commissioning new fabrication equipment. Uses various test and diagnostic equipment to trouble-shoot and repair systems. Maintains necessary records, reports, written and verbal pass downs, parts inventory-reordering parts. Leads or assists in the investigation and resolution of equipment related process problems. Proactively drives safe practices within the factory, supports and follows site safety policies. Works in clean room environment wearing clean room garments.
Qualifications
- Recent experience in semiconductor fab repair and maintenance, minimum 3 years.
- Technical education preferred in electronics and/or mechanics, may be offset by experience.
- Able to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Able to work on multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize issues and tasks according to production needs.
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs, works in awkward positions as necessary, walks, stands, or sits for up to 8 hrs.
- Experienced with handling toxic and reactive chemicals and gases common to the semiconductor industry.
- Good written and verbal skills, possess good keyboard and computer skills.
Experience
Full-time day shifts, 12hr shift, 6am – 6pm. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday or Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday.
