Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform projects that require mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Relocate equipment and services for manufacturing equipment.
• Repair, replace walls, and other related items for incoming new equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Support process engineering on improvement projects.
• Install "new" equipment for increased capacity or replacement.
• Support facility cost reduction, security, and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in a production facility (preferably Printed Circuit Board shop background).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Prior work experience with manufacturing equipment in chemical process systems, CNC mechanical systems, and general facility utilities such as compressors, chillers, and boilers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
• Good writing, reading, and verbal communication skills.
• This is an ITAR facility; applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Pay

Annual salary range: $43,680.00 – $56,243.20. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills.
