Precision in Action
- Plan and coordinate special projects, including design and fabrication of production equipment.
- Evaluate existing mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for improved yield and throughput.
- Develop mechanical/electromechanical fixtures and machines by studying customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineers, and other departments to obtain necessary requirements for writing detailed scopes for the procurement of new equipment.
- Assure system and product quality by confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
- Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.
- Estimate tooling cost from design through fabrication.
- Coincide with machine vendor through concept, design, fabrication, runoff, and setup of equipment.
- Maintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety and environmental standards, and good housekeeping practices.
- Assist maintenance with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.

What You’ll Do
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting issues with our automated and semi-automated equipment. Make improvements to equipment to insure we efficiently meet our production, quality, and safety requirements.
What Dedicated Teammates Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and work preferable but not required.
- Advanced 3D Design capability preferably Autodesk Inventor 2024 with a minimum of 8 years’ experience.
- Designing and maintaining automated assembly machines with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. (Swanson, Bodine, or similar carousel type assembly machines)
- Knowledge of hydraulics systems.
- Knowledge of pneumatics systems.
- Ability to interpret all types of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
- Ability to follow projects through to completion.
- Ability to follow PLC code.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational and computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently to meet specified deadlines.
