Key Responsibilities

  • Developing, evaluating, improving and documenting manufacturing processes.
  • Audit manufacturing process flows continually for enhancements of safety, quality, delivery and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with management and design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effective production methods can be achieved.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products, and related fixtures and tooling.
  • Provide technical support for production to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices.
  • Work overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • Engineering experience or education in manufacturing related field or 2 years minimum work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong working knowledge of production systems.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, 3D CAD experience preferred.
  • Experience programming/operating CNC equipment, robotics, and/or PLC’s is a plus.
  • Leverage manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of skid steer and excavator attachments is a plus.
  • Willingness to work adjusted schedules as needed to support production.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to move about between offices and attend meetings which may include ascending or descending stairs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
  • Lifting and carrying of materials or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone using the English language.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment such as a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, copier, and printer with precision and efficiency.
